Goal Keeper one

My daughter is going to the Goalkeeper One training at Wilbraham Monson Acadamy (Wilbraham Ma) this week. This training is being run by Phil Wheddon, the US womens national goalie coach. Only 12 keepers Signed up so the trainer/Keeper ratio is about 2/1. I would highly recommend this camp in the future (He only runs this camp a few times a year in different parts of the U.S.). The camp is residential and/or day (The day campers are there from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.

MO2 .. Thanks for the feedback. You'll find it's hard to get really good scouting information on camps, especially keeper camps. Quick question, what was the quality of the 12 keepers that signed up?

I only saw the 4 female keepers, but the ones I saw where great. There is a screening process that each player has to go through before being accepted to the camp (a resume with your teams/games history) this is done to make sure that only top players are accepted. The Keeper One camp is run along with "Extreme Soccer" and the "stricker academy". The keepers and strikers are instructed separately with their camp through out the day but they all come together in the evenings and the Keeper One camp supplies the Keepers for the evenings scrimages. The ages are mixed from U-10 to U-14 through out all the teams giving some real challange for the keepers (as well as the field players). This particular week is "premier Week" which only the highest level of players are accepted to the camp. Which makes for some good soccer.
