The Federation is issuing a mandate that all DA teams, boys and girls, must not cost participants anything. This will be "all inclusive" - all fees, uniforms, travel expenses, lodging, food, everything. Exceptions will be allowed within the first year to allow clubs time to find corporate sponsors or other means of funding. After the first year, if clubs have not secured funding, they will start to be removed from the DA. All clubs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to look at how much of an effort is being made toward funding. In some cases US Soccer may offer low interest loans to clubs in order to "bridge" until funding is secured.

That's how it should be. That way the truly best of the best in an area will be put in. Although I can see clubs jacking up their pay to play rates on the rest of us

So US soccer for the girls side only will pay approximately $10,000 per athlete for 74 clubs that will have 75 players, or $750,000 per club, so $55,000,000 for one year. You probably also believe that Weston doesn't recruit and has the kids soccer careers as their top priority also.

The DA programs are also being mandated by the federation to provide free escort services to fathers who's children lead each team in goals and assists.
