You don't have the same roster because the ECNL players were not available. That changed the whole dynamic. You were exposed as an average team that finished last in your bracket. I certainly don't blame the girls. I'm sure they played hard but depending on outside help to garner results has ultimately hurt this team.

SB only cares about claiming the glory. He did manage to weasel his daughter back to the ecnl squad which is quite a feat. The purple players are on this team for a reason- some were demoted from ecnl previously and can't even shine now. Can only win in tourneys when roster is boosted. SB can't develop anyone.

Yes but treasure coast isn't ranked as high as ocys or near as arrogant. They also don't alter their roster in an attempt to win tourneys. Great job for those girls.

What a tragedy that OC's opponents expected to test themselves against the #1 team, only to find out that the players actually responsible for that #1 rating didn't show up. GotSoccer should put a big fat asterisk next to that #1 ranking. After that team's miserable performance in State Cup and Florida Cup, a ranking in the 40's might be more appropriate.

OC's shameful roster-rigging shenanigans are just another piece of evidence that integrity isn't a core value at Orlando City.

Rankings achieved fraudulently will put you in showcase brackets where you are woefully overmatched. You are risking that your ECNL ringers won't be available for the tournament, and your girls will be destroyed and embarrassed in front of all those college coaches. And your opponents will feel cheated, since they wasted their time playing a team that was deliberately misrepresented by their club.

That's exactly what happened in State Cup and Florida Cup. OC didn't bother to think through the consequences of their unethical and unfair behavior. If Orlando City Youth Soccer thinks nobody cares about roster rigging, they are the true idiots.

I wouldn't necessarily say your ecnl girls would mercy rule all others but that's a whole different conversation. Are you really one of the top teams in the state? Based on the fact that you couldn't even make it to the final 16 in the "watered down" (your club's opinion) state cup. Yes, you lost to the eventual winner who also didn't make it to the final 16. You both lost 2/3 in state cup. Appears team went backwards this year and ended on a very low note
