I get that but they are necessarily the top 8. My point is TBU, an ECNL club has multiple teams still in state cup. This notion that ECNL clubs don't have state Cup representation because their an "elite club" is crazy. That argument cements the idea that they're a one trick pony. OC purple has always depended on their ECNL players in every big game or tournament. They have never denied it or apologized for it. Because of this fact, they have always benefited in the win column and advanced placement in tourneys. That's all good until the time comes when no ECNL players are available like this past weekend. Simply stated, they get exposed for what they are...a solid team with talent equal to the level of their league. No better or worse. Their team has the ability to win but not dominate. They may not have denied or apologized for it, but they obviously know it was wrong or they wouldn't have hidden the evidence. Every team has injuries but with a club as large as ocys, should be able to overcome. Why did girls leave the team? Didn't like the bait and switch for tourneys? You don't have the same roster because the ECNL players were not available. That changed the whole dynamic. You were exposed as an average team that finished last in your bracket.
