You win the prize. Clearly there are some on this site who desperately want you to spend a fortune trying to make your perfectly content NEP player into a over burdened and burnt out ECNL player. Glad to see some don't fall for their non stop lies and misdirection.

If the promotion of this year’s final four to NPL happens (and that is the qualification used), it appears that NEFC NS will get promoted at the BU17 level. This is all based on today’s ranking and doesn’t factor in make-up games or this weekend’s games. That could change things.

What will be interesting is what NEFC region gets the NPL nod next year as the Premier North/South teams would qualify at various boys age groups. NEFC seems to be moving away from the Premier teams and back to the regional based teams. Will Premier North = Central and Premier South = Southeast? Same for GPS, how will GPS handle a regional team qualifying but not the “State Elite” team?

Go look at the Nepremiership website and team standings for the age group you're interested in. Look at the teams in the top premiership division. Those clubs and teams in the top 2-4 spots in Premership stand to be promoted into a new "NPL" division next season where they will play each other and cross over games with current NPL teams. That simple. If you aren't in the top Premiership division and leading the table, then no NPL promotion.

Are those promoted NEP teams there permanently or how will relegation and promotion work next springs with top 2 to 4 in NEP premiership.

Looks like one of the NEFC NS 01 Elite girls left and went to Aztec even before the end of the season. Humm, maybe even more coming once season is done.

Nefc hq Would like take regional top players to club's top teams like bba ecnl and nefc npl. Rosters have spots to fill the gap due to gods. but ns as newcomer of nefc wants keep them regional. Not fair for top players of ns as they lost chance to move up.

Not likely. Some kids are realistic about where they belong competitively and stepping down to play for an Aztec team made sense (probably the only sensible reason to play for Aztec.

With the quality of performances Aztec has put on the field lately, at least on the girls side, everyone should run from this club.

There is no NPL on the Northshore Period!!

Let's put this to rest people. There is no NPL on the northshore and there will be no NPL on the northshore. Just like many other regions do not have it...deal with it. If your kid is good enough and you are committed enough you WILL travel...just like many other parents of superstars in the state do. Aztec had a nice run for a year or two with the NPL but in the end, they failed. NEFC NS has one maybe two NPL caliber teams, not enough to get an NPL bid. If you are unwilling to travel find the best team on the NS for your child's age group and go there. Aztec, GPS and NEFC all have some competitive teams in specific age brackets but maybe not other age brackets. Look year specific, look at the coaching and there you have it.....
