Okay, I know some helicopter parent is going to try to dispute this, but aren't they just looking through rosey glasses? Doesn't everyone think their kid is better than the kid really is? We'll take an ECNL parent and you have the completely blind. They not only think their kid is better than they really are, but they now have been wrongfully told so.

If they haven't played anyone but other ECNL teams, that just means the system pre-gave the teams a higher starting rating by based on the league they play in. At our club (TBU), the ECNL team won't play the Premier team (B team). They dodged us all season. I'm sure you'll see the same across all other clubs. There's no big jump in talent. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

That will never happen because youth soccer is a business first and foremost.

So, they dodge the challenge to protect their ego. This must happen at other clubs as well.

Is there issues with filling teams at WFF or are you guys disrespecting the players that are there?
All jokes to the side - something ain't right.
Changes are needed and they are needed now.
