GTB did not develop the core of the team there it came from another club a few years back.

A top team will draw players. The problem is the players come for team or coach and do not add long term stability to the club.
Would agree, MR promised alot when he came to GTBFC, but things really haven't changed.

Who cares, no one outside of parents at GTBFC actually think their teams are good, they are pretty much a lower tier soccer club.

I live in Pasco, but there is no arguing that the level of soccer training is better in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. We have taken our daughters to TBU for over 3 years, the level of training in comparison to what they got at CPUSA is huge and well worth the time of our drive.

If that is true about Pasco clubs, how come GTB have had the best 16 boys team the past 3 years better than Hillsborough and Pinellas in this age group since U14. This current U16 boys team has been the top team in the Bay Area the past 5 years and yes they lose players to Hillsborough and Pinellas every year but still remain top. They are the only team left in State Cup this year from the Tampa Bay Area.

I know this does not partain to the poster's question but the reality is that there is no perfect club for everyone. Take your daughter to train with other clubs and find out where she feels comfortable with the coach and the players. See how she develops and change clubs or teams when it gets to a point where she is no longer enjoying the game or not being developed. Put your child in the best program that fits your child and family regardless of clubs or county.

Incorrect, MR's pocket have grown with the number increase. Quantity not quality is the motor of MR. Only 1 team carries the club and that is the current U16 boys team and that will be done after this year. Coach is leaving for Clearwater Chargers Academy and no one else can take the team at GTB

Troll is back! Your nonsense about the u16 GTB boys and the coach got blown out of the water on the GTB/WFF merger thread. Now you're spewing that trash on this thread. Time to go away troll.

Laugh away but U9 and below were CDL this year and they already have been accepted for CDL up to U16, the application will be sent in for NPL and the end of next season. If you don't know your facts don't post.

if true, that shows exactly how far CDL has fallen the past few years. WP? Really?!? CDL is circling the drain......

Just curious what you feel are the best Clubs? WP has been doing fine and has improved on development and coaching go through and check what some of the teams have done this year...but you really sound like a douche bag with your un-erudite responses.

No d-bag, sorry. I just have a good knowledge of the soccer scene. WP has been sliding for years. Remeber Everton? cough cough. Kids have been driving past your fields for awhile now, on their way to better clubs.

CDL is dying. Most of the top clubs don't even put their top teams in there any more, and some don't fill their space in many age groups anymore, allowing the USA clubs to fill spots. Now they're allowing USA clubs to take full spots? CDL will some become USA division 1...it's practically there already. Sorry, facts.

It's true that many players have left the club U14 and up...but below that they are doing a good job developing talent and the strength of their teams...now keeping them is another issue. However, as of last year a new board and DOC were placed and having a partnership with Clearwater has helped with growth and players guest playing. They have a great technical director and DOC and I see nothing but positive signs...we have been with WP since Everton..... Overall there needs to be growth in Northern Pasco as there is talent albeit not deep but there is talent to. If WP still had some of these girls and boys they were be in better shape, plus northern Pasco is growing with new sub divisions. I see WP on the up swing not down...I have a lot of experience/contacts with other clubs as well there are issues everywhere.
