How did the U17B West Florida Flames get accepted into PLE instead of three teams ranked higher than them, two of which did better than them at state cup? Those teams must be pissed!

It is very petty to knock another team on an open forum.

The other poster is not knocking the team as much as knocking FYSA and their politics. The selection committee is seriously screwed up (or dishonest) if they say with a straight face that WFF is the more deserving U17 team for Region III league.
Here are the facts:
OCYS U17 boys reached State Cup semifinals
Rush U17 boys reached State Cup quarterfinals.
Neither team was accepted into Region III league, but WFF was accepted, despite losing in the round of 16.
What possible explanation can FYSA give for that decision?

Final 4 in State Cup if they apply are supposed to have automatic acceptance. FYSA needs to be called out for this. This is a great example of why FYSA is on the decline and US soccer is taking over.

Then why take a team (WFF) from a club that has ECNL, another competitor to FYSA?
It looks more like a political decision. WFF may have gotten special treatment from someone at FYSA
I have not checked, but did any other WFF teams get special treatment in any other age group?
