well if they keep the same players and continue to do better each year then its not a bad thing. I have spoken to the coach and I do not see him doing the bait and switch other clubs do, unless you have experience with it. I did hear they will have each age group, have a friend whos daughter already made the 13s.

Davie's Rising U15's, without stalking parents and kids and promising a spot in the hall of greatest on the planet of meaningless wins and burned out soccer players; has a thing called a TEAM. You're welcome to be a part of it and there are no guarantees for any players. The second team had a great year last year and all the players are returning. What happened to the rising U15 B team at Sunrise? That's right. They are all gone. Weston? Um... Yeah, that's a bad idea and always will be until they blow it up and start over. Let's all go to Sunrise and sit on the bench. Let's hold 20 kids on a roster at U15, that is like 6 minutes of non guaranteed playing time. Davie is the better option for second team and third teams and if other parents would get there heads out of there rear ends... First team.. 2 years in a row out early at State Cup Sunrise.. Davie improves year over year with far less "talent". The constant recruiting will produce wins but not a team IMO.

ESC was there at other age groups too. They are all very talented kids coming over. My son played for a team that is now fighting for a spot on the ESC teams. That's life. He probably won't make it, I hope he does because the coaching looks really good. Davie continues to add talented teams and coaching. The tryouts last year were half what we are seeing this year. Davie is putting out an excellent product on both sides. We watched the U15G team tryouts and they are outstanding. Last nights turnout was as big as it gets.. Well over 50 Girls. Two very solid teams and maybe 3 or 4. I don't think Davie will do that but it will be a very difficult decision for the coaches. Good luck to the girls trying out.

Davie and Sunrise will agree on one thing.... We are too close to each other. There is more room to compete on a roster at Davie than there is at Sunrise.. Just saying. Davie has starter roles available..

Probably same thing happens, win got to there heads after easy draw and thought they really could compete but seems Boston was bigger fiasco than Wags! Way to go Davie! More CG cool aid!

Was this meant to quote me? They do have a good team. I was asking which coach was talked to because some of them are notorious liars. Don't believe everything you hear from the coaches. One of the boys teams were told to fill every slot, regardless of skill level, so they could make the $.

Two things to say about Davie: 1. Good coaching for each team, 2. They dont gloat then hide on these forums like sunrise. Davie is in a good location, at a disadvantage at the lower levels because of the lack of a rec program. But they bring in players and teams from other clubs, and there is a reason for that, in short they offer a quality program.

Davie and Boston... Seriously? Competing and winning is important to all of the girls on the U15 (rising). Beat the team that kicked Sunrise out of SC in the semi-finals by 5 goals in two games. So how is it that we can't score?
Second Point: Long term development is managed too often by league standings and results. One day you all will recruit your daughters out of a spot and an opportunity to play.

                          Can we just be honest?

Why do people from Davie constantly feel the need to come on TS and spread lies and myths about Sunrise?

It is a fact that Davie made a nice run at the end and came up short in PK's to FKK in the finals of State Cup.

I commend you for this run at the end even though your team has holes just like Sunrise.

But to paint the picture that Sunrise had even close to a bad season, or worse yet allude to the myth that Davie did better is just not being honest.

Yes Sunrise lost to Creeks in the final 16 game due to an amazing shot from 20 plus yards with one minute to go in regulation to tie the game. Creeks went on to score the lone goal in overtime and hats off to them. Creeks had a total of 2 shots in the second half and they made them count.

But to paint the picture that Sunrise somehow had a bad year? Sunrise isn't a TEAM? We are fielding a roster of 20 just so we can make kids sit on the bench? We stalk kids and parents?
The constant recruiting produces wins and not a team? We have burnt out soccer players?

Lets set the record straight with honesty for once.

By finishing in the top 3 we qualify for R3PL and the Southern Premier League for the
                          U-15 Season.

                          6) We were champions in the FODP Showcase scoring 8 goals and giving up one while

                          7) We entered the PDA Spring Kickoff in the top Flight winning 2 games and losing one vrs

                          semi-finalist.

                          8) We lost in the final 16 to Creeks as discussed above in State Cup.

                          Guest players brought all year-

                          Spirit- zero

Wags- We brought one defender due to only having a roster of 13.

                          FYSA- zero

Disney- We brought 2 but one of them barely played due to injury. Neither scored.

                          FODP Showcase- Zero

                          State Cup- Zero

R3PL- we brought one club player at a time. One U-14 for a few games, and one U-13 for a
few. Example- Jacksonville rising 16's brought 2-3 girls from the current PV team
to join their team in SPL and R3PL.

                          Conclusion-

                          1) We have a great group of girls who are a TEAM. They have had a great time.

                          2) At the end of the year they were tired but not anymore "Burnt out" than any other girl.

                          3) We are constantly trying to improve our team year over year. No different than any
other truly competitive team in any sport. Players come and go for many reasons.

                          4) We attempt to play at the highest level so a LARGE ROSTER IS IMPERATIVE!
Sunrise gives all girls a chance and for those that work hard and perform they
will see significant playing time. EVERY girl who joins our team will get a fair shot
at beating out any existing player. This is what competition is all about. You need
to be concerned if your coach is only carrying 16 players and one keeper at U-15
because NO major national team that is playing a tough schedule like Sunrise
would enter a season with so little depth.
