Parents are so dramatic FC Florida and FC Treasure Coast are a partnership. FC Florida has boys and girls team that will play NPL FSPL PBSL USDA SFUYSA and various tournament. FC Treasure Coast will have the ability to play in ever one of these leagues only except FSPL this year. The difference is if they play in anything that is not under US Club they will have to play as FC Florida-FC Treasure Coast and not just FC Treasure Coast it isn't that big of a deal. You can play in any tournament as a US Club team which they will have access to. FYSA hasn't recognized the merger yet which is fine they will eventually. The world isn't ended.
The kids at FC Treasure Coast will still be able to play soccer. Calm down. Relax. Don't jump off a bridge.

More importantly..when you put in FC Florida website it directs you to FC Treasure Coast.
Questions
Is FC Florida no more and now FC Treasure Coast
Did Textor get the name and website as he said he would.
Will this club be US Club only going forward
This is like a soap opera..

leave us out of it

His team's won't play in SFUYSA either. So they will be stuck doing tournments only as FC Florida Prep. FC Florida is playing in FSPL NPL SFUYSA Disney Junior Showcase PBSL. FC Treasure Coast players will most likely be dual roster and have the availability to play in all leagues. RELAX!

How can you honestly say that "FC WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE SOLID GIRLS TEAMS?, I understand you will probably respond by saying they are really good! Which I'm sure they are ! But my definition of a competative club Would be to have at minimum of at least 1 team in every age group! Solid -would be 2 teams in each age group!

Same for the girls side the better teams from AC Delray and FC Treasure Coast will now be part of a player pool for upcoming games and tournaments for FC Florida. This is a time process the better teams take time to create. It doesn't happen overnight. The foundation to create what JT prep teams have become will take years for FC Florida boys side. The girls side has good teams but the future has to be dependent on AC Delray and FC Treasure Coast because FC Florida lacks a rec program and needs the partnership from these clubs to bring in the majority of the talent and hone that talent.
Bigger club like Weston have adopted this philosophy because bigger doesn't mean better. Weston goes 2-4 teams deep at every age group but a lot of those teams are great by U16. As you saw this year Weston merge with Davie and had a agreement to merge with West Pines til that deal fell thru Player pool is the way to go with the clubs understand their limits and doing what's best for the player.
The future for FC Florida teams will come from FC Florida FC Treasure Coast and AC Delray. They players at U13 and under from all 3 of these club with most likely be the foundation of the "really good" teams you are talking about. Of course you will have a few players from different clubs come in as well but the foundation starts with the partnership FC Florida has create.
