Most of the existing teams are going to be a shell of the ones in past yrs. with the birth yr realignment - we placed third last yr and our team split. New team is playing up with all new players

The Florida State Premier league should become club-based and accept only the clubs not having gda and ecnl and fpl/npl leagues. FYSA also needs to allow tryouts before May 31!

          Moronic post of the day.

FSPL is the ONE thing that FYSA has done pretty much right and you want to discard the merit-based inclusion. What FYSA SHOULD do to tweak it is limit it to only previous year Round of 16 teams. If 2 teams go to R3 then that age group only has 14 teams-that is enough for a solid league.

Nothing should be based on one big state tournament where luck and luck of the draw come to play. Overall yearly performance in the Florida State Cup and US Youth Soccer leagues should be the criteria.

If you can't make the Round of 16 you don't belong in FSPL. There is no draw so bad that a top 10 team would get knocked out in Round 2. Now, you can argue that there are maybe 10 teams that are in the 15-20 range and not all of them will advance, but so what? That's the breaks.

Make FSPL Club based? That is a disasterous recommendation and would make it another politically connected league with horrible teams losing every game by wide margins because they come from a "connected" club.

The best part of FSPL is that it is merit based unlike leagues like NPL where a team gets a spot no matter what their level simply because their club is a member of NPL.

Then why are the 2003 girls Fc Rangers in FSPL? They finished last in D1 USA league last year

FSPL is the new USA League division 3, USA is the new Travel Rec Division 4.

yeahhhhh except its not anymore really, it is in theory but in reality there are plenty of teams in FSPL this year who didn't make it out of the first round of state cup. you have a hate for NPL and the clubs in, move on already champ
