The difference is that the Strikers don't care about developing players, they just want to make some cheap money. If they really wanted player development they would run it like the MLS academies instead of a marketing program.

The fact is the MLS academies make you pay less, not more. If the club is paying an extra fee for all members, how is that paying less?

dont know if i am being edited, or punching in the wrong code.
In any event, my league has a Striker every year, and every year they start out strong and float through the teams. They are always given an impressive title and they always know what they are talking about. But their participation always seems limited to poking in on a team for a week or two and them moving on, so they add very little to the teams or the club as a whole. By midseason, they come even less unless you are paying for the private sessions. By year's end, you are lucky if you see them at all. None of this I would complain with if they stuck around for the dull days when the Striker season ended and the travelling programs were completing their seasons, and they came in and excited the program and committed to training 1 or 2 teams. However, this is when they go back to their families and the programs with Striker "coaches" remain static.

If it's not for you great. If it is great. We know we are a strong club with good teams. Who cares what team name or affiliation? As long as the team is good and happy and the coach is doing a good job, nothing else matters.
