Curious, why would two MA teams cross into CT to play against each other? MYSA restrictions supposedly follow the teams across borders (if you ask MYSA). If you're going to break the rules, why bother traveling to do it, why not just play locally and say "screw MYSA"? Because that's what you'd basically be doing by playing without restrictions in CT.

Because CT doesn't have dumb restrictions for games

Missing the point. MYSA has said that teams must abide by their dumb restrictions, even if they're not playing in MA. So if you're going to break MYSA's arbitrary rules, why not just break them locally instead of driving all the way to CT to do it?

These are ECNL teams following ECNL rules. MA has made rule changes that ECNL will not accept for competition so they need to go to states that allow, Stars has been going to NH, Scorpions to CT.

It's ECNL teams, not governed by MYSA.

This clown show is ridiculous. It's lines on a map. Nothing but a power play by those "in charge."

So if the lines on a map are meaningless, I assume you’d be in favor of replacing the Electoral College with a popular vote?

Nobody wants to play in CT anyway we would rather go to NH.

The F does that have to do with soccer?

But since you ask, the obvious answer is that a virus exists in nature and cannot be contained by arbitrary lines that only exist in the minds of humans. Whereas political systems are all about dividing people with arbitrary lines.

The people of CT have a right to protect themselves how they see fit. This is the step their elected leadership has taken to protect them.

So wait, I'm losing track. Are you saying MA teams should not be crossing that border, even if they're only playing other MA teams, because... something?

CT, MA, RI, NH, ME, VT should act as one big state, just join together call yourselves New England, or the Northeast, whatever, each state is so small just have no banning between these states as they lines are basically meaningless imaginary lines. Our families, work, school sports friends are all over the Northeast. Just let it go and stop with the travel bans in the North... Winter is coming.
