How does one get accepted to Duke with a 3.1 Average

If this is accurate, I fear our friend's discussion about being able to juggle a rigorous course load with a "full time job" will become a pipedream without UNC like help!

News flash - teams play with more than one forward. Any coach would love to have 2 goal scorers up top.

3.18 must be a typo. Surely they meant 3.98. This is the future neurosurgeon after all.

You know it's not a Star or NEFC coach because that would just invite retaliation against their players. It's just Fred doing his normal thing here. When he's not bashing other coaches or parents he stoops to bashing kids. These two NEFC kids are frequent targets of his. And he wonders why others have absolutely nothing good to say about either him or the Scorpions, the last several posts should explain why.

You really have to take a Fred pill dude. I highly doubt he is posting about the gpa of a player. In fact, I doubt a coach is posting it. Defintely a parent. And a parent from the team that the 3.1 gpa plays on who has seen the college brochures. No one else would know.

As an aside, although I wish them the best, odds are only one will succeed with PT there at least at the center forward position. Duke recruits blue chip top scorers each and every year. One injury or scoring slump and the person behind you gets the opportunity.Best of luck to them though.

Unfortunately, the GPAs are posted in the Gatorade links provided, so it is not likely a club or coach but a jealous parent pointing that out. These girls should be celebrated, regardless of club. It is a huge accomplishment. Period.
