We went to the clinic in Hanover on friday. Question: why so many ECNL players there if they get so much good exposure from their league?

Money is not an obstacle and covering all the bases.

EXACT ID is not only about exposure. Good clinic in the area before season starts. The kids on ECNL will get exposure as will yours on NEFC.

When you "Exactly ID" players, many realize that all the best are not necessarily in ECNL. I believe that Us soccer is just catching on. Better late than never.

Yes, great players play outside the ecnl etc but a college coach gets 'certified owned' with the ecnl player. lol

Of course there are good players outside of the ECNL. But the top ECNL players, or top NEFC Elite type players for that matter, probably aren't regularly attending Exact clinics. Those girls get noticed at major showcase tournaments and attend clinics held at the colleges on their target list. Prospect clinics held at the colleges are where the real sorting out tends to occur. It can be eye opening as to the level of talent when the funnel narrows towards the top soccer colleges.

If your daughter comes back from a top D-1 prospect clinic and was the best player there, then yes she is very good...
