Valeo struggles to stay relevant past U12 DAP

The scramble is on to placate the crazy parents whose kids are too old to play DAP at Valeo U12. The academy teams haven't come knocking. There are a few kids being considered but whole teams will be left with nothing to show for all their boasting over the years. Whatever will this little club do?

Valeo develops some of the best young talent in the region at the younger ages. Now with DAP that will get stronger. For the older kids they have choices to continue developing. Either Revs for those that are chosen, Seacoast/ Valeo academy partnership, or EDP. Sounds like this little club continues to punch above its weight.

Isn't U12 DAP just a ploy to direct kids to the real DAP franchises at U13?

            This new arrangement amazes me.

All the 2003's and above get left out in the cold with this announcement.

Valeo has the best development program for the younger kids, when mastering technique really matters. After that they have multiple options to take it to the next level. Go Valeo!!

Spin machine in overdrive in the last few days. Propaganda in full effect. That's how you know things are not good in Valeoville.

They should at least find someone knowledgeable or post something on the website. Our 2003s will be the best! Oops. Just embarrassing.

                        Diff poster (Valeo parent)

To me the U12 DAP is an effort of NEFC, GPS, and Valeo to all have a full DAP program. NE soccer is getting better and perhaps if there were 6 really good teams in NE then NE would be much better

Exactly- let the college recruiters come to MA, not NJ.

It's good that Valeo and Seacoast are collaborating. If NEFC and Valeo collaborated or GPS and Valeo, that might be even better. But for now, Seacoast is the one with DAP status (besides the Bolts), so the partnership is for coverage of northern NE.

The Seacoast Valeo DAP teams will be competing in the same league as the Revs and Bolts, so we will see how that works. TS will chime in to let the world know.

Just dreaming. Not a normal club action to schedule practices over 2 hours away. Seacoast is a ditch effort to appease elitist dreams of stardom when rejected by Academy. If any of them got Revs or Bolts invite the would jump.

The Seacoast Valeo partnership makes a lot of sense. Both clubs are excellent at developing technical players, and will complement each other very well. Another great move (among many) by Valeo.
