The BC girl's parents are lobbying to add the equivalent of an NIT so that they can still get the National Championship experience. Any chance of that?

Equivilent to a snoballs chance in hell. That idea is so dumb that any cretin that buys into it should ordered to break rocks with a sledge hammer for a week.

Lighten up Francis. I think the earlier post was a dig at BC for not making the Big Dance.

OP of post #2. Right on. Glad someone has a sense of humor here, although I've noticed a lot of grumpy BC parents around this week.

Whether you like it or not Boston college women's soccer is the premier well in soccer program in New England. They may have had a down year but they will be back. This is because the cream always rises to the top.

UConn has a 27-6-3 record all time against BC and far more success in the NCAA's. BC has had a good mini run, but now it's over. UConn beat them last season at the Heights and is clearly better this year. They are spending $MM's on their facilities while BC's soccer field was unplayable. No doubt which program is going in the right direction.

This is why it was important for BC to lobby to keep UConn out of the ACC and preserve its one recruiting advantage - the lure of playing against the country's best teams.

BC's current problem is that Syracuse is moving up in the ACC and is recruiting MA top players, and a 3-0 shellacking of BC certainly helps. Also Rutgers is in the Big Ten and is improved and could also steal recruits.
