Anyone seeing a challenger to the AB throne? This section looks like a cakewalk when compared with the D1 South group. AB beat LS twice. LS beat Andover and Peabody (pre-season, I know does not count). Somebody is going to need to get hot and play beyond their record.

I saw both games and while I think LS can make a good run this post season, beating AB would be a huge upset. LS goalie would have to have a great game (like she did last time they played) and just about everything else would have to go right. Looking at their schedule, LS has not lost to or tied a team that is missing the playoffs. They lost to NS...one bad scoreline out of 16 games. Other than AB, who doesn't have that?Originally posted by Unregistered View Post
AB is still going to win; LS can't beat them, Peabody lost to them in one of their 2 non-league games (they went 0-1-1 non-league and faces little challenge in their league - will be seeded above their capability and are unlikely to make the final four). Central Catholic seems to be missing something this year (0-1-1 v Andover) and losing or tying games they would have won in past year. Chelmsford has a studly D that has only conceded 4 goals this season...pretty impressive, but their offense isn't quite as good as that.
D1N would be a great pick-em tournament were it not for AB.Comment

Anyone know the make-up of AB players by school year? Is this a senior heavy crew?
I know CC is mostly juniors. Andover has 11 seniors. LS is carrying a majority of sophs with a couple key JRs and Srs.Comment
