Talk to the players? They are the ones that are getting arrested for underage drinking, and failing drug tests. Unfortunately, in this day and age the coach has very little he can do to them. If he enforces strict rules, the kids complain and then Mommy and Daddy get involved and defend their child.

Talk to the players who aren't getting arrested. That's not the only reason the coach is in hot water.

Son did not commit to UNH, but at one point it was a distinct possibility.
We did as well and my son did not like the HC at all. Got a bad vibe from him. He liked the school and prospective teammates a lot, but somewhere deep down he had a feeling. Turns out he was right, as he was right about the school where he eventually ended up.

It is very hard to glean some of this information when you're looking. Players are a great resource but also anyone else you know on campus also. Programs can develop reputations, good and bad, and players may not always be forthcoming.

          Because they are good

The players will transfer, their bad practice habits and traits will follow them along with their Mommy and Daddies. Hopefully they transfer down a level so they don't ride the bench or get cut again.

Was that the current HC head coach or the former one?

I think he was referring to the head coach of UNH, not Holy Cross.

RT has been the coach for 20 years. How old is your kid? Did he visit back in 1998 when Noonan was the coach?

Winner plays PC who is seeded

That's it for who is in. Everyone else goes home.

Dartmouth now plays PC in Rd 2. 1 New England team will see Rd 3.
