    YIKES!
Pathetic comment. Please tell us what college team you played for? sport? Division?

pretty sure we can look up the "real" minutes you played if you dare to tell!

Any and All college players should be recognized as the real deal, It is all higher
level of play than most, if not all of you posters here have even watched from any bench.

Good Luck top all the players moving in to the next stage! Watch your back though... TS posters are watching you

Congratulations to Hoosac Valley Goalkeeper MR. Although not popular here, Committing to play at D2 is something to be proud of. Good Luck

All the Teams from the Coombs League are in already:

West Springfield - #1 spot with a bye for 1st round

Seeding is up the grabs for the rest of the Leauge:

          Ludlow
          Minnechaug
          Belchertown
          East Longmeadow

            D3 teams...already qualified
            Hampshire
            Easthampton
            Granby
            South Hadley

Hampshire and Easthampton are very strong. Excellent defense and both have fast forwards. They've both been pretty consistent thus far, and the team chemistry seems strong on the field. SH is much better this year, but lacks the explosive speed up front. They get the job done more often than not, but they lack multiple "better than average" players. Defense is fairly strong, but not as good as Hamp and Easthamp. Granby runs hot and cold. They have one of the best defenses in the league, they have a talented midfielder, but they struggle in goal, and their forwards aren't as consistent as EM was last year. They are very quiet this year, (even their fans are quiet), and lack vocal leadership on the field.

Can't ever count out the hill towns though, but my bet is Hampshire and Easthampton.

West Springfield looks to be the best team this year but so much depends on the seedings and the draw. Any of West Side, Minnechaug, East Longmeadow, Belchertown, Ludlow or Pittsfield could win the group. Good to see Belchertown thriving this year without the drama that the twins brought to the team. Things will change in the next two weeks but right now here's how the seeds might play out:

              1. West Springfield
              2. Minnechaug
              3. Belchertown
              4. Ludlow
              5. East Longmeadow
              6. Pittsfield
              7. Chicopee
              8. Northampton

The quarterfinal and semifinal games should all be great games to watch. Good luck to all the teams.

Belchertown girls are really enjoying this season. My d says it's her best year so far, and the individuals scoring most of our goals are real team players. It's also fun for the girls to play without the pressure they felt last year. They aren't expected to win every game, and they are thriving as a team because of it. It's anyone's game come playoffs...as we are well aware.

We played a Granby this past weekend. I have to agree with the poster who said their team doesn't have the same chemistry and will to win. We beat them by 8 last year and only beat them by 3 this year, but last years team played with so much more heart. The one exception, their sweeper. She shut down KH.

We are rivals with Granby, but it was sad to see them play without the spark from last year. EM showed the most fire from the Granby sidelines.

Btown has no pressure because they are not expected to win anything. They have a great goalie that has and will make them a tough out. They have yet to beat a top quality opponent though and cannot do so with their current team.

West Side has all the pressure and should win WMass this year. They are the class of the league with good players and have been the team to beat. Minnechaug seems to be down this year but never count them out as well as Ludlow, East Longmeadow, and Pittsfield.

If you have a D4 player then post something. We can all read masslive.

Saw this keeper play again the other day against Ludlow, she is not a D1 keeper. Yes she has size, but lacks speed and basic goalkeeper decision making. If she ever wants to see playing time, she should have looked at one of the lower D3 schools.

This statement just reeks of jealousy. Hopefully one day you will grow-up.
