    Prep School 2013-2014

I've been keeping my eye on whats going on lately in prep school soccer and have a few questions about predictions

Berkshire? Lost Zeiko, went to his BC game against UNC last night, he's incredible!
Worcester Academy? Even though they lost two starts to UVM and Brandeis
    Exeter?
    Deerfield?
    Hotchkiss?

Can anyone tell me how WA is still running even though they lost 3-4 superstars?

WA has beaten Deerfield, Exeter, and Hotchkiss so far this year

Very good win for WA against Hotchkiss. I was not expecting to see a 4-1 score in that game.

Why wouldn't Andover and nfmh be on this list?

WA had 3-4 superstars last year? Then how did they lose to a subpar exeter team last year in the playoffs?

Worcester has a couple of PG's every year and has a steady flow of players coming in each year. They are a talented team with a deep bench. The Klippel kid has scored 20 plus goals for them which has been huge.

Andover should definitely be in any top 10, and probably deserve to be in the top 5-6 even though their best win is over Milton. They have yet to lose and have had draws with NMH, Loomis, and Choate.

NMH is strong but has too many ties and not enough wins to be in the top 10. They are as good as most anyone in New England though and suffer from playing a tough schedule.

If there is a pretender in there it is Nobles. Who have they beaten?

Agree with previous post...Nobles only quality win is against St. Mark's who are no longer in top 10. There loss against Lawrence yesterday was not as close as the 4-1 score.

Nobles still hase to play Rivers and Milton - very good chance that both Milton and BB&N will have a better ISL record than Nobles.

Both Cushing and Deerfield are weaker than usual this year.

Not having Andover in the rankings makes no sense (given their record and schedule- they have now tied Worcester). For others, wonder if the people have really seen games or just relying on records. As stated eslewhere, the ISL is subpar this year (except for the very top teams) so that teams have great records because lots of the teams range from weak to mediocre. Gotta look at the schedules rather than the records.

Can't predict if teams have not been announced.

One take on the Class A rankings. These are definitely the teams in the mix for consideration when it boils down to it. There will be a couple of very good teams who do not get in clearly. Berkshire is the team to beat but any of these teams could make a run.

                              1. Berkshire 14-0-1 best win Hotchkiss, Kent, South Kent, or Taft
                              2. Kent 13-1-2 best win is South Ken, Choate or Taft
                              3. Worcester 15-1-2 best win is NMH or Hotchkiss
                              4. Hotchkiss 10-2-3 best win is Loomis or NMH
                              5. Andover 10-0-5 best win is Milton or Bridgton
                              6. Loomis 11-2-4 best win is Worcester
                              7. Milton 12-3-2 best win is Rivers or BB&N
                              8. NMH 8-3-5 best win is Loomis or Choate
                              9. BB&N 11-4-1 best win is Nobles or Groton
                              10. Choate 10-3-3 best win is Taft
                              11. Taft 9-3-3 best win is Salisbury
