Because two games does not make a team. The Clearwater teams have historically been better than Celtic. Celtic is one of the weakest teams in the field. I have had the displeasure of watching them play and they are not State Cup material. What are you worried about anyway, if you are good enough, as you think, you will have no problem with round 1.

It's an obvious conflict. FY SA really needs to promote the Premier league. One way to do that is to increase it's important for state cup seating. Next year, everyone will want to sign up.

South Orlando wins Disney showcase qualifier, is 1st in 2nd Division FSPL, top ten in state rankings, has beaten-tied-lost to #1 FC Florida and is Unseeded!!!

Lots of West Pines teams UNSEEDED! more than one age group boys and girls not even playing state cup. This is sad. I never have seen this at West Pines.

Really, region D gets an unintentional, "Bye," and no games, no seeding, no risk, no cards, no injuries......just opportunity!???

Automatically moves in to 2nd round while A, B, C Region have 6-8 teams per bracket and have to fight it out!

FYSA has to provide perks for those teams that played in its leagues. They do not care how it looks. Also, there are unseeded teams in region A that, in certain age groups, do not have to play in round I either, just like Region D. all teams should have to play through. FYSA you've really made a mockery of the Florida State Cup games. Should change the name to Florida State Carnival Cup.
