Tbu in need of new leadership

How has the director of coachings' for both on the girls and boys side and Executive Director stayed in their positions. The lack of leadership in a club that has so much potential is really disappointing and frustrating to the parents, players and coaches. It's time to part ways with the the current leadership and hire a professional to take over the club.

The Tampa Mafia are too interconnected. There is too much money to be made and NOBODY will knock them off their pedestal. The only way to disrupt them is for a Clearwater/WFF merger. Then their jobs will be at risk.

Over the past 10 years this club has floundered. They have churned and burned players/parents for years. The new young bucks in and continued migration out at various ages. They simply have numbers and can be lazy about the approach of the work to develop players. They play for results to please the parents too young of an age. In 10 years so much more could have been accomplished with the right leadership in place. The board should wake up and make some hard decisions if they all cared about building a top state level club from top to bottom. If they can't, they should walk and let others move in who are not so personally tied those on the payroll. This is always the downfall mixing personal and business relationships in any organization. Surrounding clubs are all growing due to the leak of players who aren't happy seeking other options. Its really disappointing as a fan of the game and the area this club has not been more powerful on the state level.

I hear the BOD Pres (BC) is leaving after the season. Maybe the new Pres can do something better.

Don't know how you can say that on the Girls side of things. Highly successful!

TBU girls all play in the shadow of WFF ECNL. Hence, they should be successful playing in the B-Leagues as the competition is weak at best. And yes, that includes the National League that AB's team smoked this year and last. I will give them credit for at least playing the best competition available to them. It is similar in baseball to the Durham Bulls being very successful in the minor leagues while the Rays face the best competition in the majors. As they say, it is what it is, and if being "highly successful" in the "minors" is your goal, then you are what you say you are! Considering AB's team is the only team at TBU to be "highly successful", I really do not agree that the girl's program, as a whole, would be considered a success. Some people (person) would say that the Celtic girl's program is "highly successful".

ABs team beat the ECNL U16 national champions, eclipse - 2 weeks after they won the ecnl title. Same roster at both events - look it up. While you are at it, look up where the girls from National League U17s are committed to play college soccer (Tophat, TN, TBU, NJ Stallions, Beach FC, etc) Then look up the same info for the team that they are "in the shadow of.." Looks like the girls playing National League are doing alright in their B league.

Don't argue with this loser. He is the same one junking up all the threads with his constant bashing of Pinellas clubs. At least now we know he is an ECNL parent nut.
