Does it really matter if a coach or DOC leaves?? Coaches and DOC have been leaving clubs forever. Its nothing new so its non-news item. You should be looking at the stability of the club etc and other things that make the player enjoy their time playing and the other life skills they learn.

ANY organization (excluding the military & all professional sports leagues) would agree, that kind of turnover is not a sign of good business. Like it or not.

Ummmm.....are you sure you know that much about the Central Florida club scene? Maybe you are new to the area? Trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here....

FC America and Hunter's Creek are pretty much aligned now. Both use FPS for coaching and development. SB lives in Hunter's Creek and you can see several Hunter's Creek residents playing for FC America. This goes back several years. I would hardly call a club rec if FCA is recruiting from the area. Also, Hunter's Creek Middle School boys just took the Orange County Championship and the girls regularly advance in the play-offs. In fact the star of the Lake Nona Girls Middle School Championship team plays for Hunter's Creek. GOU's best girls team started at Hunter's Creek and the coach took them over to GOU a few years back after a dust up with the Directorship. Rush also has several good players from Hunter's Creek. If FPS starts to show some progress and they attract some of these players back to their own neighborhood, it would be a major shift of talent in the area.

All good players left shortly after they forced SB's hand w/ the dumb 50% rule which was put into place so the kid of someone who is on the board would get more playing time and it backfired completely. I know they wish they could take that one back and don't even come w/ the homeowners assoc crap because the HCSC Board pushed that idea on them.

When you are using the Lake Nona Girls Middle School Championship team as your benchmark of performance you show your ignorance. HCSC is a great recreational community club.
HCSC is good at feeding kids to bigger clubs when they are ready for real competitive soccer.

You know just little enough about what really happened to show your ignorance of the real story. SB, BS, and EF got caught up in the fallout, but the real issue were the gypsy clubs that ML was allowing to play under the HCSC umbrella. It was the right decision for the good of HC (homeowners that is), but a lot of good neighborhood soccer players were affected by it. Had ML not gotten so greedy and tried to pad his wallet with out-of-area player fees everything might have been okay.

That's what he told you. Unfortunately that's not all OF happened. they told him 50% of his team had to be from Hunters Creek. they told ALL the competitive teams that and S wasn't having that. Have to commend him for that.

Maybe he CHOSE FC America as the new club for the central location but that was not the ONLY reason he left HCSC.

yeah ok T.C. We know this is you. The fact that you tried to throw ML under the bus PROVES it's you. same way you e-mailed all the parents in the club (for what purpose remains unknown) just to air each others dirty laundry.

Not THAT kind of turnover. What company changes CEOs 4 times in 2 years?
Certainly not successful ones. or are you ignorant of corporate America workings?

Other than the change at OCYS because of the merger. What other clubs are doing this as frequently? If this is normal then give us examples and we will acknowledge your correctness.

One of those gypsy clubs is highly successful and now putting the ACYS competitive program on the map so maybe ML knew what he was seeing and did the right thing by giving someone a chance? difficult to argue with success.

If what you are saying is correct. the HOA & HCSC Board pushed all "gyspsy" teams out and by doing so lost all their elite teams. That doesn't seem like that was a good move.

We are still talking about FCA right? The club that changed D.O.C.'s 3 times in 2 years and is going for the 4-Peat!

Nobody cares about HCSC. They need to win a respectable tournament first to get any credibility back.
