    Tbu

    AB = Ricky Bobby
    JC = Cal

    could not be more fitting.

    The Legend of TBU Premier. Get it? Former Legends?

    Pretty funny.

        When will GF see it?

        AB is just a glorified High School Coach. D2 is for all of the second place players. Wait...it all makes sense now.

            So AB lost the game? Team has 3 shutouts at nationals, 0-0 today in a national championship and the coach lost the game? I guess beating 2x ECNL National Champion Eclipse during the run at nationals is not good enough either. All all the pro ECNL fools go ahead & check the roster at nationals & check the ECNL roster. Looks like the same team to me. You people need to get a life. TBU goes to nationals two years in a row, wish I had "those problems". Congrats and great job TBU, you represented Tampa & Florida well. Just as JYSC did. No one likes winners.

              NOT TBU. JFC knows how to WIN....not come in second ALL the time. TBU cannot even win SC. Why is that?

                TBU goes to the B League USYS championship games two years in a row, which they should. They won SC, right? They came in first place in National League, right? They won SPL/R3PL, right? OK, so they did not win anything to get to the championship games but they still deserve to be there since they came in second or third place in the qualifying events leading up to the National Championship games. I guess playing "rock, paper, scissors" qualifies a team if they win in USYS. The reality is that it shows how weak the competition is in USYS these days. As you said in your Freudian slip at the end, no one likes "winners"!..or cares about losers. Good job by all the players as they played their tails off, but those two clowns, AB and JC on the sidelines were a total joke! Could they not pry George off his couch to help AB?

                  So they have done something wrong playing in those leagues that they applied & got accepted to? In the R3PL & RPL, you can qualify for regionals. Every team in national league has qualified by being a Regional Champion or 1st & 2nd place in the national league the previous year. Because they didn't win state cup they don't deserve to go? You sound like the clown. Those league applications are open to everyone, kudos to them for applying & having the résumé to get in. And let's be honest here, getting to leagues & tournaments is one thing, how you do in those tournaments is up to performance. And I would say it has been pretty good for the past 4 years with that team. At the World Cup, top 2 teams in the group move on & Spain won a World Cup in 2010 without winning their group. In hockey the top 8 teams make the playoffs & this year a #6 seed won the Stanley cup. Basketball the same thing, top 8 teams in the league. College basketball has 64 teams make the playoffs, some non conference champs & teams like Butler play in the final. In baseball top 6 teams make playoffs, ECNL has a top playoff showcase that ALSO has wildcards & then they have the North American showcase for all the bottom dwellers of the league which happens to be the majority of the Florida ECNL teams. Your points bashing kids for qualifying for championship events through leagues is down right ignorant. That application to the league is open every year, problem is your kids team didn't get in or you are some ECNL wanna be playing in a league where you never make the real ECNL playoffs. Where they also take wildcards & teams that didn't win their league. Great to see ECNL champ Eclipse lose to Tbu last Wednesday, and yes it was your ECNL National champion.

                    You spent a lot of time spouting what TBU hasn't won - Now please tell us what exactly what tournaments your team has won in the past two years. State Cup, ECNL, Jefferson Cup, Atlanta Cup, Vulcan Cup, Disney? Please let us know. TBU the club, TBU the coaching staff, TBU parents, TBU athletes have been able to compete against the best in the country over the past two years. Give credit where credit has been earned and please leave out that AB has recruited the best (which he has) but that's what ECNL was supposed to have done but the best ran the other way. Also please note that the ECNL leadership offered your spot to the whole TBU team which means you would be the 2nd team at the WFF not the country.
                    I prefer TBU's team that "hasn't" won anything but competes against the best in the country to not winning anything and not even able to compete in a weak ECNL southern division.

                      I really feel for these girls,

                      They really need a break. When does their next league start up? I know you will say that that is what they want, but being a 15/16 year old means more than living your life for soccer and all of the pressures of it. They should really be proud, but there is more to life than soccer. I hope their life is balanced.

                        Sorry, but that was the Eclipse "B" team that TBU beat last Wednesday, They have their U16 ECNL team that is the ECNL National champion and then the U16 USYS Pool team that TBU beat. You know, as much as you want to believe TBU is all of that, they are still just another USYS team wishing they could play to the level of ECNL.

                        It is really funny that the President's Cup champion thinks they are better than the USYS champions and now the USYS teams think they are better than the top ECNL teams. You really should check your facts before spouting off about which team you are beating. I bet that sorry TBU coach told the players the same thing! What a joke!

                          So you can sit back and deny the fact that your BEST team the last 2 years came to a USYS event and claim it was their "B team". 16 on a 22 player roster ECNL kids and soccer has 11 starters. Your non ECNL kids played very minimal if at all in games vs TBU and Beach FC. Those are the facts laid out for you Mr. Soccer, next time you look to post stuff be sure to GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. 16 ECNL players, 9 starters who played vs Real Colorado at the REAL ECNL playoffs on the roster at USYS Nationals. The joke is on you, the ECNL kool-aid tastes more like piss.

                              16 ECNL players rostered to USYS National Championships, 6 players non ECNL and not one of those kids in any starting line up at Nationals. Where they went 1-1-1, losing to TBU and a 0-0 tie with Beach FC in group play.

                                Man I have to agree. Very tired of the rank from ECNL parents that believe just because they are on an ecnl team that they are superior. what a joke. Congrats to TBU, again.
