Lets be honest. Finding a nickel on the ground would also have been the best thing to happen for PCU.

PCU has become the worst club in the Largo and St. Pete area with the shuttering of Everton

Agree St. Pete Raiders are the worst then it's a flip of a coin between Celtic and PCU

DT now at Pcu, TP at the raiders, JM at the celtics. What do they all have on common?

They all are from the UK. This is where they got their training in soccer. Egos biggerrjen anyone else. You talk to coaches from these clubs and they will tell you that these docs seem to know it all. They won't bring in good coaches feom elsewhere and if you disagree with something they will get rid of you. They all want yes people around them.

PCU vs Celtic is a battle for which club will stay relevant as the number 3 club in the St.Pete area behind TBU West and Strictly. Both clubs offer poor fundamental training and USA League caliber teams.

USA plays in CDL all the time

Foolish propoganda regarding USA League comparison to CDL League. The CDL league has several "USA League Club" teams filling slots in CDL so they can organize league games. Does CDL quality improve by inviting USA League teams into the fold? The CDL has asked Celtic, Dynamo, FishHawk, and others ... to fill in where they could not field teams ... the teams they are inviting in developed under the USA League environment ...

All of you morons that continue to bad mouth the USA League simply don't have a clue. The CDL organization was created so the "Big Clubs" could avoid playing, and losing, to all the surrounding "small clubs". It is completely marketing and convenience. Are their benefits, yes ... but there are benefits for both leagues ...

Let the kids play at the competitive level they deserve to play ... and simply support the process.

Fact is, there are only three clubs that matter in the area. ClW,WFF, & TBU. But you know that. And it's not because how this age group did in this or that.. But because ONLY these 3 clubs offer kids better opportunities than any other local clubs in the area. I understand why parents choose to stay at PCU,Celtic,Strictly, etc.. It means a lot for your kid to be a starter or the STAR of the team. Doesn't matter what league they play. As I've been telling everyone, club soccer is mostly about the parents than the kids. I'm not saying that going to the big 3 clubs guarantee scholarships. But you know that those clubs are the only ones that "might" offer your kid that or at least let them play at the highest level especially at the older age groups.

So, you are saying the only way to get a college scholarship is to go to one of the 3 clubs you mentioned ... so all of the other clubs that list kids signing with schools is untrue?

The other clubs may have kids signing at D2 or D3 at the college level, but these are not actually full rides, but are grants in aid. Outside of the three club mentioned, I know of no other club in Pinellas that has produced a D1 player.
