Keepers are all wacky. Keeper on Keeper crime. Would mean a lot more coming from someone else. The only thing standing between Loyden and a starting job on the USNT is.....Hope Solo. Loyden has a lot to lose financially if she remains back up. Her next best opportunity would be the Olympics. No one cares about the back up keeper, until they become the starter.

Jill Loyden retired from the US Team this month- this is not a back up hoping for a spot on the team. This is someone who saw what allowing violence against a family member can escalate to and has had to sit and watch her mentor being given accolades (shut out record) while charges are pending.

In other situations Leagues are being coerced to act prior to any trial or conviction, calling for the firing of league officials if they don't.
