11v11 at 11? crazy

Just egotistical to play 11v11 at this young age IMHO. 9v9 gets a lot more touches and development while maintaining the thrill. But of course, doesn't make more money for the club. Is that why these clubs push 11v11 on such a young age group?

i dont believe NEP offers 11v11 at u12 and wont allow teams to play up to u13 to play it. 9v9 is best or even 8v8. it will separate the players because the is less time and space and they have to plan ahead or will be lost. wished mine played 9v9 at u12... he would be a quicker minded player today.

as is NEFC Newton United U11. Must suck to be a U11 Valeo parent now sulking away with your tail between your legs. All bark and no bite.
Given that most of the Valeo kids are actually 9 and not 10. I think we did alright
