Imagine if NEFC, GPS, Stars, Valeo, Bolts Academy etc played each other for 2 - 3 hours every weekend how much better then would be versus traveling 10 hours.

Slight correct. Manhattan is at least 8 hours round trip. That is a 10 hour day. What are you doing next weekend?

Nefc, the gps teams, and stars already do this. It's called the npl. Great soccer and it's all local. And yes it is much better than 10 hour trips on the weekend.

NPL still travels too much. Playing a game in Portland Maine is just as stupid as NYC. Portland is 4 - 5 hours round trip. Too much for 1 one hour game.

What are you driving, a moped? Portland is at most 1:45 from Boston, and even closer from the north shore. Plus, given the balanced home-and-away NPL schedules, that is a once a year trip. A little different than travelling to NY/NJ every other weekend.
