I am glad that these kids returned to play for SSS. This is a good team for them and JL is the only good coach that you listed. He is able to get a lot out of his players and is a good tactical coach. DL does not coach girls anymore and LL (dad) is not a good tactical coach unless you consider kick it long a tactical game. LL is only good at the younger ages where tactics do not play a role in the game. I knows NDA won the Division 2 state title this past year but a goat could have coached that team to a state title. LL tactics are to high pressure teams at the young ages and let her superstar score all the goals. It is not tactics but bully soccer. I am curious about her U10 team and what happens there. also her teams play up and down and uses player pass to play in multiple games when playing against good teams. MAPLE needs to allow player only to play in one game per day or forfiet the game. LL thinks she is bulling the wool over everybodies eyes but it is very plain to see.

The coaches make promises to the girls that they cannot keep, (ex. playing region 1) select can't compete in that league!!!!

You do realize that the current U16 were in R1 at that age (u13) also and everybody left becasue they did not compete on the field and went to other clubs (Stars and Scorpions) at U14. R1 is also not the same as it was when the 16 were in it either. All the top clubs across the country are playing ECNL or NPL. You SSS parents don't get it. Your club will never get out o MAPLE and your players will miss the boat. Keep believing what a land rover president is driving. Go to Breaker, NEFC or Stars. I don't care but you are wasting your time and money with SSS no mtter how good you are now or how good you think you will be in the future. LL is not the god you think she is but keep drinking the beer in the skybox and driving your kids home drunk at night.

The last line is to funny. Maybe when the SSS parents finally sober up they are smart enough to realize it is a joke and leave.

They have never had anyone who could organize and train/direct the older teams properly, and then coupled with bad decisions in the movement of players, the parents and players get frustrated and leave. Doesn't help that Scorps are in the next town. Scorps have recruited SSS kids for almost 15 yrs now. It's a great club for U12 or 13. They will learn ball skills and passing skills better than most. They either can't or do not want to get into the tactical side. Plus the top isn't working a plan, they are flying by the seat of there pants most of the time. They won't go anywhere, and if they ever get that piece together they would be dangerous.

Keep an eye out for them to make some noise in some of the top tournaments.
There are a dozen teams that are better than them.

Nah, didn't think so, not on this thread. You diehard, D1 college chasing parents should have a heart to heart, one on one, face to face (not while driving to soccer practice) conversation with your daughter and ask her what "her" goals are and why. I wonder if they're the same as yours.

A few have quit soccer completely becasue they played to much during the time with SSS. I find your comment funny about the die heart D1 parents when the SSS parents are crazy about their kids and the future they have in soccer. They hand LL so much money for her extra training, camps, clinics, tournaments and anything else she says your kid needs to stay on the elite team.

If the SSS parents would actually talk to other club parents they would see a world of difference between what SSS charges and what other clubs charge. LL charges additional money for most of the stuff that is included in other clubs fees. She talks about being a family but I would agree it is more like the Mafia and paernts need to know their place in the family.
