The excuses have started:

GPS (for whatever reason) feels the need to defend a 4-0 win as if the score was supposed to be 9-0 per other ridiculous posters.

Valeo is making excuses for other teams losses (2-0 to LYSA) when their kids are playing for other clubs!! On a positive note, Valeo B did beat a town team in the B division of NEFC

..and the season has not even begun.

Oh well......it makes for entertaining reading...

Is there a club that is truly focused on developing..................players??

I am sure that it was interesting, but only so for those parents of kids who are in the top 1/3 of the team as these will be the ones left with time and replacement. The unsuspecting bottom half who are lulled into enjoying the exercise don't know what is ultimately coming to them. This is the way club soccer seems to work.

Whose fault is that? Anyone on the bottom half should know who they are by this age. if they don't, the coach and certainly the parents should be informing these players.

Valeo will be fine and strong.
As for the 'interesting' comments, this is the reality of sports and life, both of which are pyramidal. Better players stay and weaker players are at risk to be replaced.
My kid is a weaker player who is getting stronger. If and when (assuming it happens) he replaces a currently stronger player, there will be no apologies. It is what happens.

It was a good game. Both sides played well. I think the Blazers had a better first half scoring a goal from a distance. NEFC outplayed the Blazers in the first half of the second and it was fairly even the for the rest of the game. Both teams scored a goal in the second half off of PKs in the box.
