Need someone from a different background to come in and try something new. It could be a great program

She’s no longer liking FIU social media posts and doesn’t have anything FIU related in her bio...so, maybe she has moved on. #stalker

Of course she is going there, not earned or deserved when her husband is the Technical Director there. Easy get out for her.

Question: How can a school with the resources, location and budget of FIU hire a coach WHO IS AS UNQUALIFIED as they come in 2017, who only has 3 years of experience coaching and a USSF C LICENSE ?

Answer: Clueless athletic directors who don't know or care about soccer as long as who they they hire stays under the radar ( winning percentage above 500 ) and doesn't commit any NCAA major violations.

Conclusion: it would be nice to see programs like FIU hire coaches based on relative coaching experience and credentials rather than their playing resume. This coach was and still is at a low level when it came to running a D1 program. She failed miserably at hiring a qualified professional staff, constructing effective functional gamelike training sessions, in game adjustments and was tactically clueless.

If she indeed goes to Weston she should start with U11 and work her way up if she wants a head coach position in the future worth anything. As an assistant she would be alright but as a Head Coach she is an Amateur. Forget about the Canadian playing career and start learning how to really coach and teach the game.

Are we still talking about this? Crappy coach at a crappy university. The only people that attend FIU are from Miami and plan their career to be in or around Hialeah. That way they can hang out at La Carreta all day drinking sh!t coffee. It's a school for the third world rejects of Miami-Dade county.

                      Move on already.

The university of Miami, which is a more prestigious school, hire a D license coach and didn’t win a game the entire season

It doesn't matter about the license they hold. A load of D1 schools have A License coaches and dont even get a .5 record each season. The problem with the collegiate coaching system is that the same coaches bounce around from school to school because they can go through a course and don't do anything to differ or change a program. Time to give new coaches a chance and bring something different than the norm coach who will be there 2/3 years nothing and move on to another school.

You are absolutely correct. After these coaches are bounce from college to college and their is nowhere left to go, they end up coaching youth soccer.
