And who writes the BIO? All conference/All State in high school... big deal, bragging rights... but does it mean anything.... take a small school player that is awarded all state... does that mean that player is equal to a player at a larger school... in most cases that would be a no!!! But someone has to be awarded, again opinion of coaches and not necessarily going to the most deserving.... there are many awards/nominations that mean something to coaches.... HS accolades mean nothing..

They send the recruit a questionnaire that asks for a list of athletic and academic awards- you would know this if you’re kid was recruited
Piss on them all you want but the colleges think they are worth publishing
I don’t think they recruit awards but they want their recruits to have them

Most of these M and S all state players would not start at Staples, St. Joe’s, Glastonbury or Southington

undeserved and totally political
second they mean nothing to anybody who actually knows anything because all the wrong girls got the awards
third its meaningless to colleges because everyone knows that the awards went to the worst girls in the state
thay was the ops original point
they are HS awards of course they dont mean anything when you are in college

Political was never stated, meaningless in the scheme of things, yes also not sure why someone would think a class S or M player would not make some of the larger school teams, I suppose the poster has seen every game and player in the state to make that remark. SMH. Seems like you can only be a good player if you play for certain team

they give out all State by class, so the small school player is only compared to others in small schools ( other orgs combine and pick one squad ie Gametime)
it seems like you need to volunteer your time to be on a selection committee- you obviously think very highly of your talent identification skills and are undoubtedly the fairest in all the land

And what evidence do you offer to support this statement?
Your implication is that a kid who goes to a small school is simply not at the caliber of a player who goes to a larger school. The statement is utter nonsense on its face.
