    so...let's keep it real
    - two sales jobs
    - one making min wage in Finland
    - PT could have gotten anywhere (making ~$60k)
    - UKN

    that leaves one with a true technical job requiring high level academics.

      I would bet differently. My guess is that a good portion of the players made the trade off and sacrificed academics to devote more time to athletics, even at a place like Duke. Sure, some were able to do both, but my bet is that is the exception.
      So then if it is impossible to mix soccer and academics why is there even a discussion? Why is anyone’s kid playing soccer?

        Project much? How does anyone know what any of these kids is being paid? More important if one of those kids wanted to become the next mother Theresa is she going to be criticized for not making enough money.
