    ISL Boys 2018

    Who are the pre-season favorites?
Key losses and key returning players?
    Key recruits coming in?

Berkshire reloads every year. Looks like they have gotten a big central defender from Arlington as a post-grad.

I’m sure Berkshire will be very good, but they aren’t in the ISL, and this is an ISL thread.

They aren't in the ISL, either.

Brooks graduated most of their starting 11. They will probably be in rebuilding mode unless they had a massive recruiting year.

Milton graduated a few good players including AK, but they have tons of returning talent. I think they also got a couple of good incoming 2002s.

Middlesex and Rivers were also near the top last year and they should be good again. Rivers didn’t have any seniors in their starting 11 and they got 3 players from the GPS 2003 NPL team. I think Middlesex has an international kid coming from Right to Dream.

Anyone know anything about Belmont Hil?

Didn’t Rivers lose one of their starting center backs from last year? Kicked out according to rumors.

Also- are Nobles really projected a top 5 finish? Not sure I buy that after their performance in the league last year finishing outside top 8. Haven’t heard of any big recruits coming either.

Top teams in the state for sure, know many of the players through club. Would love to see scrimmage with some of the top isl schools, if for nothing else would be great for development.

Nobles only lost three seniors and have two former Revs players on the team as sophomores. One of which is the dangerous striker/winger current DAP Bolts player.

Good top three but disagree with LA and Sebs in bottom five.

Know of him, great player, but one player will not put Nobles in the top five.

Many of last year's top teams are returning almost all of their best players. MX brings back most of its best players. MA was young last year. BH has a lot of players back. Rivers brings back almost its full starting lineup. Groton returns just about everyone, IIRC. So some young teams that were a bit lower in the standings, like Nobles or LA, probably won't rise as much as one might normally expect.
