Really? You expect one player to get a team to a national championship? As another pointed out they had a very good year, the kind of year schools would kill for. She's been out of OW for years so enough of implying it's somehow OW's fault she isn't the top pick. Not everyone will make it - there may always be someone better, or who works just that much harder. She's had an outstanding career so far.

If you look at the roster, they have 15 women with national camp or team experience. If that is supposed to be the best talent pool, then they have more from that pool of players than starting positions available.

Shouldn’t they be a finals team every year given than level of talent, the scholarship money and the facilities? Should fairfield or ccsu be expected to compete with them?

Seems to me the under achieved. In other news though UConn got the best he player in the us. So they should be able to play with penn state.

Every Top 10 program in the country is filled with US U-whatever team members. That’s the baseline for being recruited by UNC, Stanford, etc.

makes sense ow keeps GDA and takes top 1-2 from each age group for GDA and all other players fill out there NPL teams.

Not really sure how this effects anyone else.... Sporting boys are mediocre at best. All it does is put more players under one name..

Sporting players will run elsewhere, no way are they paying OW fees when they are used to glorified Middletown travel fees

2 outdoor fields and 2.5 indoor fields is no where enough space for training. No way OW parents go to Middletown to play on crap outdoor fields
