Fields were horrible, they were poorly kept, mud basically and very narrow .
    Game and competition ok

They got a ton of rain Thursday, Wake Med Park fields were great, only played on turf the other two games. Grass field at WRAL looked awful, but how is CASL supposed to stop the rain?

Wet fields but nothing that could really be done about it. The weather was not bad except for the really cold Sun morning. Seemed like pretty decent competition. All in all a good weekend, we had really good game results.

          Played offsite Friday: no coaches.
Sat at WRAL: 13 coaches at our game.
Sun at WRAL: 1 coach at game.

WRAL grass fields were VERY small (short and narrow) and muddy.

We were offsite all 3 days, only a couple of coaches. But U16 so not too worried about it. Was able to pick up some film to use in the process.

He invited two, neither of which showed due to the fact their teams were playing in the D1 tournament. He did get interest from at least 2 of the coaches who were there, however.

Another useless tournament we wasted our money on. Son had a great time with friends, but overall similar to the mouse' one locally but w/ traveling expense. Looks like most FL teams did nothing special either. Truly a waste.

This is a SHOWCASE, so the team effort truly means nothing!! The individual needs to preform. Apparently your boy did not.

unless your club is from central florida, your team also probably pays to play and travel to the mouse house too. also, if your player isn't asking coaches to come and watch him, don't expect them to just show up. coaches have numerous requests that they try to balance out and cover but they won't just stop and watch a game without a good reason. they have their own schedule too. I don't agree that showcases are events just for individuals to showcase themselves; Yes, that is what you eventually want, to be seen, but if your team is performing terribly, but you shine... well it doesn't take me to tell you that any coaches stopping by and seeing a failing team.. will assume most on it are a reflection of the brief glimpse they get watching for a few minutes... even if your kid is great, they may not even stand out at that one point in time when they are there... your team better be stepping up and shining through snow, rain, hail, and mud. and you'll get all at CASL. Always a messy, cold event.

Hello, the tourney was a waste nothing to do with performance as we won, but overall not worth the money. You know what they say when you "assume". People sometimes
