The interesting thing about this group in particular (U14G) is that, two years ago, BK had two decent teams at U12. Many of them had been together for quite some time. Then, when it tryouts happened for U13, Asaf brought in a new coach, CM, who caused a lot of drama during tryouts and then left before tryouts were even done and took a group of players with him that he had brought in. Nobody at BK made any mention of this at all during or after tryouts, so the parents continued to think there would be two teams and Asaf couldn't even be honest during tryouts and let people know that the new coach he brought in had already split. So, the second team fell apart and many ended up out in Wellington or TB.
Now, there is drama around the one remaining team. They hold tryouts and girls make the team, only to sit while the coach has others playing up from the U13 team or others coming in as guest players. If coach didn't want the girls who tried out to play, he shouldn't have put them on the team. Asaf hasn't done much to help the situation over the last couple of years. Really a shame.
Could have continued to have two relatively solid teams growth with each other and continue to get better. Instead, he is left with one team in tatters having to pull players from all over.

AYSO is focused on kids and BBK is focused on money. Not sure AYSO would approve of the sales tactics used by BBK.
