Weak, small fields in every division.

it's thanksgiving weekend. Most competitive kids have been playing every single weekend since September. They deserve a weekend off. In fact, most trainers would tell you that competing every weekend without a break is not a good idea.

There is not enough interest to have 2 tournaments this weekend. There is barely enough interest for 1 tournament.

Don't blame JP or anyone else. This type of tournament - more like 3 friendlies - is exactly what you should have expected. There is nothing JP or Doral or anyone could have done to attract more teams during thanksgiving weekend.

The whole reason that Doral put this tournament on was that Plantation stated on their website that they turn away 100 teams a year. That must of been a false statement.

Oh well..I think competition is always good to improve each tournament

Maybe it was a false statement. Looking at Plantation's brackets, it doesn't look much better. without Weston, they would have a real problem.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the Doral Soccer Club, other than the normal way that people get in touch with another club? We have been trying to reschedule a game with their U12 Blue team since the schedules came out and have no success with contacting the coach, the DOC or the President of the club. We were to0ld we would get callbacks but have received none. Are they known for not responding or do they just want the forfeit? We won't have enough players at Christmas and they will not call us back. Our president and DOC have tried to contact them with no results.

Looking at the number of teams involved, I for one think Doral may do well at this tournament.

Try getting in contact with all the coaches until one of them can help you. Or just drive to the park and look for the coach
