The Polk County sheriff is a fool. The fact that we are wasting tax payer resources on going after pot operations in 2016 is ridiculous. The only other thing he cares about are hookers. Keep us safe from real criminals please.

Did you even read the article? How much resources did they use? They were tipped off anonymously so it wasn't like they had to spend time and money on surveillance. The only fool was the soccer coach. He shouldn't of had any involvement in an illegal activity, especially since his was a acting as a role model and working with kids. I do agree that we should spend more time and focus on violent crimes, rape, murder and pedophiles and less time on victimless crimes. However he was stealing electricity which is a crime. He was involved in an illegal grow operation, this would of been illegal in states like Colorado, Oregon and Washington too. You can't just mass produce without proper licensing and this was not just for personal or medical use. It will be next to impossible to claim he was a medical caregiver with the amount he was producing. Now I don't think he was a bad person, I just think he made a horrible decision and is now going to pay for it. He wasn't some heinous drug kingpin, there were no guns involved and he willingly turned himself in. He has had tons of support from parents in the community where he coached saying how he is a good person and he just made a big mistake.

Even if it were legal, his actions would still be illegal. I personally don't think it should be illegal, but it is and mass production would be illegal either way without proper licensing and permits. You can't just run a business without paying taxes and stealing electricity. Once again I do agree we should spend more time on other crimes and less time on victimless crime. If you feel the same, make sure you go out and vote in the next election. It will be on the ballot again. It didn't pass last time because of poor voter turnout, so make sure you vote.

Where is Auburndale. Finally a soccer club willing to give back to the community. Willing to move. Do they have Uner there?

We have spent a lot of weekends at the FYSA facilities (ODP, State Cup, etc.) and that area is beautiful. Rolling hills, lakes, wildlife, etc. Top-notch facilities.

Apparently they have special hills where you can go and roll your joints. They call them the rolling hills.
