No surprises here. Tophat is the only team that is performing from the Southeast. Unfortunately, the recruit not build strategy of teams from this region has been exposed. No chemistry between players who are recruited and thrown together for a few games before Nationals. Club like Tophat at least know how to create a winning culture by developing players through their system and putting girls together at a young age and teaching them how to play as a team. The other Southeast clubs are just 11 individuals trying to get scouted by college coaches.

News flash: Tophat recruits more then any other team in the southeast and the Atlanta market is quite large. Just ask any Atlanta ECNL or USYSA team how many players are being recruited from their teams to Tophat.

You USYS parents have no clue what it takes to play in the "big girl league" that is ECNL. There are no easy teams, unlike the joke teams that play in the USYS National Championships! The ECNL playoffs are the best teams in the country by a long shot. Your little New Jersey Stallions are a far cry from PDA ECNL teams from New Jersey! You guys get the Michigan Jaguars and the ECNL teams get the Michigan Hawks! USYS is the B league and may even be the C league in 2017!

Southeast teams
A few Florida teams are doing quite well at the national championships. From Atlanta, Concorde Fire has done very well in multiple age groups and CESA is still in the running at U17. Our region is doing fine.

U14 3-3-0
U15 5-1-2
U16 1-5-2
U17 7-3-1
Overall 16-12-5
Its easy to see that the SE Conf is extremely tough in the U17 & U15 age groups. U14 & U16 leaves tremendous room for improvement. These are Champion League stats. Nobody cares about the others. They are simply feel good games for the rest of the league. If you can't qualify top 32 you shouldn't still be playing.

Concorde U15 tied for first in their group
GSA U15 tied for first in their group
JFC u17 leading their group
The SE conference is doing better then most conferences and you just hate the fact that it's solid soccer.

This isn't about 1 good team from FESA or 2 good teams at sunrise or 1 top team from FKK. This is about the quality of soccer from the clubs in the SE conference. It's pretty solid.
