I don't know how you can be at 2 clubs and have loyalty to 2 clubs. Someone is getting shafted.

Of course Plantation. Coach brings all(what he thinks) the best players over to Kendall for the Academy. You look at the U17 its a lot of Plantation boys. So he will look for more this next year since kendall does not have any 98's left. Oh and this is what kendall likes to bad for the loyal Kendall boys who are there every year waiting there turn. they will get pushed aside again. So until he decides to get Plantation the best kids he will stay at Kendall.

That's my favorite part. Starting these kids with this programs will make them go psycho. Good luck surviving in the real world when this doesn't work out.

Get rid of the DOC JR he has been a pretender for all these years driving his Mercedes Benz around showing off all the money he has stolen from all the dumb parents who thought he was the man and plantation was the program. He should just stay down at Kendall Coalition with all the garbage that is already there. Garbage stinks wherever you put it.

I see Plantation and Albion is a bust. How stupid is Johnny Ramos and the board at Plantation. Did they really think this bull crap would work. Just look at all of the other big clubs that came in and tried to do the same thing. Never did work and never will. Ask how much money they payed Albion for this stupid decision. Plantation parents keep throwing your hard earned money down the drain. JR, you gotta go, you s u c k and have to go already. Go start your little tots program at the YMCA

                            Plantation FC Press Release:

Fort Lauderdale FC, Coral Springs United and Plantation FC, three of the largest soccer clubs in Broward County have come together to establish a working relationship geared towards enhancing the long-term athlete development plan for players of all levels.
The main objective of the partnership is to stream-line the higher level talent amongst the clubs and create opportunities to showcase such talent. The clubs have already initiated player exchange for the U12 Boys US Development Academy at Plantation FC.
In addition to promoting players into the USDA, all 3 clubs will bring together players to participate in some of the most well-known college showcases and tournaments in the country.
“Over the last several years, youth soccer has grown in south Florida. However, more doesn’t always mean the soccer has gotten better. It’s time for the South Florida soccer community to come together instead or starting a new club next door. We feel now is the time to put our heads together. There are good directors and good people in place that share a vision that we all agree on. This is the future of youth soccer in South Florida."
John Ramos – DOC at Plantation FC

An independent entity will be established that will sit above all partner clubs. The most committed players, striving to play at the highest possible level will be provided with opportunities at selected Showcase and Tournament events. Since players will be returning to their respective clubs for the regular club schedule it will not negatively affect the existence of the club teams.
The entity will be overseen by the directors of each partner club. This will allow the clubs to collaborate to create the best possible programming for players aiming for the highest level while also provide new resources for improvements in the individual clubs through resource sharing, coach’s clinics and education amongst other things.

“We believe, that with this set-up we can create a transparent and efficient path of development for players of all levels. Clubs coming together and
working on solutions rather than competing for the same players will help improve the quality from the recreational level to the most competitive. The sport belongs to the kids and not the people that run it and we are hopeful that we can create something that shows that.”
Olaf Henke – Director at Fort Lauderdale FC

All three clubs have been in communication with US Soccer, who is viewing the approach very favorable just as they have in the past in other parts of the country, and are in the process of applying for the Girls US Development Academy under the unified independent entity. The girls’ development academy will start play in the 2017-2018 season.
All three clubs are running their own recreational programs or are closely partnered with some of the biggest programs in South Florida.
Fort Lauderdale FC also provides a pathway into the professional level through the partnership with our local pro team, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. It already shows with Fort Lauderdale, Plantation FC and Coral Springs United alumni on the roster of the current NPSL U23 team as well as a U19 Team which will be traveling to China in July.

More clubs clubs will be announced to join the partnership soon.

PFC has also been home to several players that have participated at the collegiate and professional levels. PFC is a member of FYSA and was recently awarded the US Development Academy for 12 years olds.
3 clubs trying to do the right thing with varying degrees of success depending on the age group. At the end of the day, everyone is fighting Weston which just sucks up the talent everyone else develops. Not congratulating Weston for development, just saying they are sucking up the best of Broward and the other clubs need to adjust quickly.
