How did TBU/WFF get in? WC seems to have had a better year, improving results then either of these two teams, and they are in. Stop being jealous that your team didn't make it.

Decisions on these At Large applicants will be made at the conclusion of the application period by the selection committee.
Offer was made and they accepted, story over.

Original question was why are 02's not filled? What does your response have to do with the selection process still going on? Who is they? Or, were you just using the quote to post? The story goes on as not all ages and spots are filled.

Better year? Tbu won Columbus day and IMG Cup, and CDL showcase (not that those are anything to brag about) late in the year they beat FC Florida White and Kendall. WC didn't win anything all year and couldn't even win CDL league so how did they have the better year exactly?

Didn't TBU use guest players to win those tourney's and even added new players from GTBFC right before state cup. Either way they are both in and probably neither should be in, but they are. How about some of the other teams, that didn't make it out of first round? Or even win a game. Go figure.

There is a problem on the boys u18 list. I know for a fact that the OC team that was previously the 99/00 team is playing u19. That is how the team was put together at tryouts. It includes some '98 boys. I wonder if the mistake was fysa or ocys. In any case, that's a problem.

Let's be honest, with the birth year change, we won't know who belongs until the games are actually played. Here's to a competitive year for all involved. ✊

The 98's will not be playing FSPL only FPL. FSPL is only for 99's. That's not the way they promoted it at tryouts but they were under the impression that FYSA would have a combination 98/99 age bracket.

So are they having a 99-only team instead of a combined team? How would they arrange that after tryouts? That is a lot of rearranging. Or will the 99 second team play fspl?

There is no rearranging it was initially set up as a combined team of 25 to 26 players playing FSPL and FPL. There would be 2 teams within one team. Better players would play FSPL, remaining would play FPL. It was understood that FSPL would have a combined 99/98 FSPL age group. FSPL changed so therefore 98's will play in FPL, FSPL will be 99 only.

Are you saying FSPL will have no U19 age group for 98s? Doesn't sound right as FSPL has listed their U19 accepted teams...? What's up?

The post was a specific reference to a previous post about an OCYS team, not the entire age group.

Answer your own question, look for yourself.

Since OCYS held their "FPL" tryouts prior to the FYSA tryout date shouldn't that team be ineligible due to violating the FYSA tryout rule ? Doubt that will happen but it is a complete joke when so many clubs do the this and are never called on it. It is clear that was their intention to play both leagues as this is what was stated by a parent above.
