The coaches poll has had UConn ranked and BC not all season. You call them uninformed? The RPI poll looks hard at strength of schedule without bias and says the same thing. Have you forgottten your pitiful non conference opponents? Start by beating the Orange ladies. Then go to church and pray like you do each season.

BC is done this year. Even if they beat Syracuse. RPI is too low.

Time to shift focus to next season.

Will there possibly be a coaching change? And do we have any recruits coming that will make and impact? There was talk of a good transfer as well. Any idea who?

          RPI this week

          15. UConn
          44. PC
          54. Harvard
          61. BC
          72. Brown
          78. Northeastern

At this point it is safe to say the next game at Syracuse will be BC's last this season. They have gotten whatever bump the ACC can give them in RPI. Even a win over #93 RPI Syracuse will do little. They will be battling for the #12 spot in the ACC rankings. I can't remember BC being ever that low. Their strategy of playing very low RPI teams out of conference to ensure a .500 season really backfired. See you next season.

Anyone know what the lowest RPI historically to get an at large bid in the NCAA has been?

You may see it this year: BU

If there is a coaching change at the heights, rest assured that there will be a major blood letting on the current remaining roster as well as with the committed players as well. The BC faithful should also expect some of their better sophomores and freshman to transfer out because all deals become null and void when a coaching change is made at this level and several of them will have better options at other schools in other big time conferences. In these types of situations the new coaches never keeps the roster intact, they can't. The sad reality is Foley has not recruited well in years so the next coach will have to deal with that if they want to have the scholarship dollars to make any sort of improvement in the team going forward.

I was talking at large bid. BU will not get an at large. They will only get in if they win their conf. tournament

A good AD will make a change as soon as the dust settles on the season so that they can get their selection process done with enough time for the new coach to have some impact on the newest recruiting class before the national signing date.

It will all depend on how many years AF has left on her contract. BC is in no position to eat any remaining years on a contract for an Olympic sport

This site cares more about women's soccer than the BC administration and AD. We all pretend to know what is happening on the heights, but the AD truly knows the difficulty of attracting top players to a cold weather college, with poor facilities and little fan support. A few years back when BC recruited a couple top classes there were fewer credible options. With the expanded ACC, as well as improved other leagues, and dearth of local talent, recruiting is near impossible now.

Foley knows her stuff. But you can't turn make eagle salad from eagle poop.

Foley's on par with the facilities at BC. Both are very low in the ACC.

So UConn shares the same weather, is building top facilities, has top recruits from NH and RI, as well as a BC transfer, and has some of the best fan support for soccer in the east. Sounds like the AD needs to stop whining and do something.

UCONN cares about women's sports ... BC doesn't
