Yes. It looks like Newton North is well on the way to making the postseason.
It looks like there are three Baystate teams that have a shot in Division 1.
Braintree
Needham
Brookline
Framingham and Weymouth are on the bubble
Walpole is alone in division 2

They will be underdogs at Brookline, at Framingham, at Braintree and at Needham.
So they can't drop a point home to Andover, Weymouth, Norwood and Newton South, or at Wellesley, or if they do drop a point in these 5, they have to make it up in the games noted above.
NN have a chance, which is nice to see given the last 4? years, but that's the best we can say at this point. Maybe 6-6-6 or 7-7-4 to squeak in.

In past years, they keep the league standings as if those games that weren't played were forfeits.
Comes out to 16 games per team. So, for example, if Norwood doesn't play Natick twice, Natick gets a win and Norwood a loss for that missed game.
Tournament qualification records would not count the "non-game" as a game, however.
It will be good for everyone when Dedham is gone and (rumors have it) Norwood could be as well. Situations like this are bullspit.
I think the DCL they don't count interdivision games at all in the standings- they are non leaguers: so if LS plays Weston it counts no different than if LS played Wellesley.

I was joking.....earlier a poster had them going into the post season after three straight losses.....it is sarcasm.

Needham looked solid
BC High tied them last year ( BC lost their D1 Bolts kid)
Lets see how they do when they meet the other big teams in their division again
Hope we see them again in Tourney

'BC [High] lost their D1 Bolts kid'??
He wasn't playing for BC High at all since he was a DAP player.
Would you like to try and find another excuse??

Not sure how the league standings are kept, but logically it would be 2 for win and 1 for tie, so playing fewer games gives those teams fewer chances to pick up points and place 1st or 2nd. If you'd bet that your team is a long shot to qualify for tourney by placing 1 or 2, then it's logical to choose what Dedham and Norwood have. Norwood perhaps could have helped itself further by making sure 70% of games were against D1s. Then it could qualify by being .500 in its D2/3 games only.

Newton North dropped 2 points to Andover Saturday, so now NN have 8 remaining while standing 3-5-2.
They will be underdogs at Brookline, at Framingham, at Braintree and at Needham, and need at least 2 points from those.
They can't drop a point home to Weymouth, Norwood and Newton South, or at Wellesley.
6-6-6 or 7-7-4 in the end looking more remote.
