Just out of curiosity, do the Monson girls soccer play for western united?

Some do, and some play for Stars.

Granby girls play D3 soccer and D2 girls lax, but are a D4 school. Lax might be because there are no lower divisions but I know they had the choice to play up in soccer when MIAA realigned the divisions 2 years ago. Monsoon also had the option but chose to stay D4.

So why the hell are they on here playing their trumpets if they had a chance to get out of the basement.

if thats the case then its very disappointing. Big fish, small pond. Grow a set and move up a division, they would compete and not have so many lopsided games. Fewer Wmass and state titles but more competitive games

I had read that the twins from Belchertown transferred from uconn to umass but they are not listed on the umass roster. I know they were highly regarded coming out of high school. Any idea if it's an oversight or did something happen to make them reconsider or go elsewhere? Hopefully u western ma folks might have some info.

I looked quickly and did not see any freshmen on the roster. So maybe the roster has not been updated for all newcomers?

That was my initial thought until I saw the Clemson transfer on the roster.

The move was to go to a more suitable program where they can get more playing time and have an impact on games.
