[QUOTE=Unregistered;1896996]Same as the opener last year (2-2 tie)...... last year I said that was a bit of an upset (on Shrewsbury's behalf). This year - a let down....

Wboro scored first, held the lead, then great effort by Shrews tied it up.
Like last year the visitor won 2-2.

          Agreed.
Marlborough this year is looking like the Worcester South of 2015 - under the radar until mid-season. Good win over GD. Not sure on how they matched up (if anyone knows). Marlborough has Gonk in a week or so. We will see how they stack up. Gonk does look like they are one of the teams to beat. Good tie against STJ earlier this week, a very fast paced match. Looking at Gonk’s schedule they have a realistic chance of going undefeated. And yes that would include two over Shrewsbury. I do think Shrewsbury will have a great season. The Gonk and STJ games should be their toughest matches. However I don’t think Shrewsbury matches up well vs. Gonk's skill / speed. STJ took a major blow by losing a star player. They will not have an overwhelming record. They will win the games they should but a couple of emass schools they play are better than them. However they will be a tough out in districts. Worc South – what is happening?

Despite the 1-4 start will probably finish a hair over .500 and make districts.....

Just heard and confirmed the walker system will be instituted this year in Central Mass. Gone are the days of weak top seeds that play havoc with the seedings and match ups. It's about time!

Previously, seedings were determined by Wins and Losses only.

The Walker System will weigh team’s overall winning percentage, strength of schedule and record against opponents with a .500 record or better.

How do you determine strength of schedule?
