    GPS sure doesn't benefit.

What's driving all of the GPS hate lately? Ex parent whose kid got cut? Ex coach who didn't have his/her visa renewed?

GPS definitely has its weaknesses, but this repeated bashing is getting tiresome.

It happens to most of the teams: fcb, stars, Seacoast, stars, SSS. Just read the titles of the threads. It is a function of which club posts the most. It is exhausting. If you're happy, good luck to you and your kids.

Can anyone answer definitively whether GPS is getting full DA next year?

They will get U13 DA next year. Then they will get U14 in 2018/19.

Are you the same guy who has been coming on here for the past decade saying GPS will be getting full DAP any day now? At least you've finally lowered your expectations a little.

The directive is to expand the DAP into successive years as the current U12 group ages. They will have full DAP by the 2021/22 season.

I'm afraid you misread the directive. They are trying to get the cream of the crop into DAP. Bringing in more clubs at older ages waters down the talent. Exactly what US Soccer is trying to avoid.

The main reason additional DAP clubs were added at the U12 level is to cut down on travel for this young age group. I could see them possibly expanding DAP at those new clubs through U13, just to give the entire pool one more year of DAP training before cutting 60% of them. But by U14, they need to start focusing their resources on the very best players, and kids at this age are old enough to travel. I highly doubt any additional clubs will receive DAP at the older age groups, unless replacing a club that was no longer able to meet DAP standards.
