If a player gets suspended in league play, does it carry over to tournament play?

I agree --
It really depends on league rules and tournament rules. For example, if a player was suspended for say 3 games after an incident in a game played through a USYSA carded league, then those 3 games would need to be the next 3 the team plays in a USYSA event. That would be league games or a tournament like State Cup. It would not be an independent tournament. The reason for that should be pretty obvious.
Now -- a league could well have a specific requirement that says the suspended games must be league games.

Either they want to say the team they lost to cheated or want to find a BS way to wipe their thug's suspension.
