This is our first year at TBU West and it has been a great year of training for our kids. The professional atmosphere and the emphasis on training is something new to us, at Celtic we never had trainers that were skilled and the emphasis was never placed on controlling the ball. Im glad we made the move, and we finally have a club in the Largo-Seminole area that is not a USA League caliber club.

Uniform costs that the club makes a cut. Other Clubs send parents to website straight from vendor.
Playing Home Games in Tampa. Yes this was kept from Parents until after they Paid.
The Rec was kept under Largo United banner in case this experiment failed and the Family will still have control and revert back to L.U.Comment

Your kid can have the Privilege of paying the TBU West Coach 50.00 a month to play on a "Division 1 Team" who only wins 2-4 games a year. Yes look at the the records Since TBU WEST wont pay the Coaches.
See that's the Trick. "Division 1 Teams". Parents buy into paying the Coaches. Not the Club paying them.
Well my kid is on a Division 1 Team.

This very typical of the TBU WEST, they go in Div1 charge lots of money but loose most of the games. Parents buy into the Div1 bologna but the results are poor soccer players.
Are you shocked? Given TBU WEST'S track record of struggling in the USA League, what would lead you to believe that they could succeed in a more advanced league. Honestly, outside of parents at TBU WEST, no one in the Tampa area would consider TBU WEST to be a place to send your child to learn technical aspects of soccer. If your child has ever played against a TBU WEST team, then you know that the TBU WEST teams all lack basic skills and are highly limited on offense. TBU WEST is a club that should be only used for average to below average kids that want to play competitive soccer.Comment

We left TBU WEST three years ago, I didn't see the lack of integrity by the board, but then again, I had very little interaction with the board. We left because the level of training was very poor and the coaching was atrocious. When we went to our new club, our kids were behind the other kids at the new club by about two years because of their previous lack of training at TBU WEST Our kids eventually caught up, we should of made the move after only one year at TBU WEST instead of waiting.Comment

Soccer is important for families when their kids growing up start showing interest in sports, so what parents didn't know about TBU WEST 3 years Go is important to share now for those parents who are looking, bottom line avoid the TBU WEST club, many issues there, lots of kids left the sport due to frustrations from the TBU WEST are doing, examples from spreading the kids unevenly, to lack of coaching plans and quality coaches to continuous barrage of e-mails for fund raising and volunteering demands, where does all that money go is what I want to know?!Comment
